Shared Christmas Parties Under £100 Per Person, London 2026

Three London shared Christmas parties that start below £100 + VAT per person — and none of them feel like a budget option.

  • 3 parties
  • £85 – £140 + VAT per person

Can you get a decent shared Christmas party in London for under £100 a head?

Yes, on the right night. Three of the parties we list start under £100 + VAT per person: Cirque at the Bloomsbury Big Top from £85, The Christmas Lodge from £88, and Cirque de Noël at Tobacco Dock from £95.50 on its ticket-only nights. All three include a seated three-course dinner, entertainment and a DJ. The trade-off is the date — sub-£100 pricing is a midweek and late-December phenomenon — and the drinks, which are extra rather than included.

Under £100 + VAT per person in central London is genuinely achievable, but only if you are flexible on the date. Every price in this band is a Wednesday, a late-December Thursday, or a night in the last week before Christmas when the market has thinned out. If your date is fixed to the second Thursday of December, this page will not help you — but the £100–£150 band will.

The bigger caveat is drinks. At this price point drinks are almost never included beyond a sparkling reception, and the packages that make the evening flow add £45–£55 + VAT per person. That is not a hidden cost so much as a structural one — budget for the ticket plus a package and compare the total against an all-inclusive party before you decide which is really cheaper.

What you do not lose at this price is production. Cirque runs aerial and fire performers in a genuine big top seating 700. Cirque de Noël has aerial acts between courses and a survivors' breakfast at 11pm. These are not cut-down events.

What the total actually costs

Taking Cirque on Wednesday 16 December as the worked example:

  • Ticket — £85 + VAT per person. Includes sparkling reception, three-course dinner, coffee station, aerialists and stage acts, fun casino, DJ, cloakroom.
  • Unlimited beers, wines and soft drinks — £46 + VAT per person, bought for the whole party.
  • Running total — £131 + VAT per person, which is still below several ticket-only prices elsewhere.
  • Or — skip the package and run a cash bar. Many groups do, and it works when the guest list is small.

The three parties in this band

Cirque, Bloomsbury Big Top — from £85 + VAT on Wednesday 16 December, with nine dates from £85 to £115. Five minutes from Russell Square, ten from Euston and King's Cross. Seats up to 700; exclusive company tables.

The Christmas Lodge, The Fountain Room — from £88 + VAT on the same night, on the same street. A softer alpine-lodge format with a winter arcade and games for the guests who would rather not dance. Eight dates.

Cirque de Noël, Tobacco Dock — £95.50 + VAT on its two ticket-only nights (Wednesday 9 and Thursday 17 December). Full immersive circus, aerial acts between courses, live band, DJ and a late survivors' breakfast. Note that its other two dates are all-inclusive at £140 + VAT.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest shared Christmas party in London for 2026?
Cirque at the Bloomsbury Big Top, at £85 + VAT per person on Wednesday 16 December 2026. That includes a sparkling reception, a three-course seated dinner, aerial and stage acts, a fun casino and a DJ.
Are drinks included in a sub-£100 shared Christmas party?
Only a sparkling reception. Beyond that you buy a package: typically £46 + VAT per person for unlimited beers, wines and soft drinks, or £54 + VAT to add Prosecco. At all three venues the package has to be bought for the whole party, not just the guests who want it.
Why are some dates so much cheaper than others?
Demand. Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December are the two busiest party nights in London and price accordingly. Wednesdays, and anything after 15 December, sell more slowly — so operators discount. If your date is genuinely flexible, that flexibility is worth £30 or more a head.

Prices exclude VAT and are supplied by the venues. Ask us to check availability before setting a date internally.
