What does a shared Christmas party in London cost per person?

Between £85 and £149 + VAT per person for the ticket. Roughly: £85–£99 buys a seated dinner with entertainment on a midweek date, drinks extra. £110–£135 buys large-scale production — funfairs, circus, live bands — with drinks partly included. £140–£149 buys an all-inclusive night where drinks from 8pm to 12:30am are in the ticket. Add £45–£55 + VAT per person for a drinks package at the lower end, and the real totals converge much more than the headline prices suggest.

Comparing shared Christmas parties on ticket price alone is the single most common way organisers get caught out, because the tickets are not selling the same thing. A £149 all-inclusive ticket at Tower Hill includes four and a half hours of drinks. A £95.50 ticket at Cirque de Noël includes a welcome Prosecco and then a cash bar. Those are different products.

The honest way to compare is to price the evening you actually intend to run. If your team drinks, add a package to every non-inclusive ticket before you rank them. If you are hosting a quieter crowd who will have two drinks each, the cash-bar options win comfortably.

Cirque, The Christmas Lodge, Cirque de Noël on ticket-only nights. A sparkling reception, a three-course seated dinner, entertainment through the meal, a fun casino and a DJ. Drinks are a separate package of £46–£55 + VAT per person, bought for the whole party. Midweek and late-December dates only.

Winters of the World, Carnivale, Wonder Nights, Disco Nights, Urban Funfair, Motown Extravaganza, Skyball Syon Park. This is where the large-scale production sits: dodgems, aerialists, six-piece bands, indoor funfairs. Drinks vary — Motown and Skyball Syon Park are all-inclusive at this price, the rest are partly included or package-based.

£140 – £149 + VAT

Masquerade, Cirque de Noël on its all-inclusive nights, and the hotel ballroom balls at Tower Hill, St Paul's, North Greenwich and Victoria. Almost all of these include unlimited drinks from 8pm to 12:30am. You are paying for the drinks and the certainty, not for a better dinner.
