Disco Nights at the Vaults (LED dancefloors and mirror balls, DJ from 11pm), Wonder Nights (DJ from 11pm), Cirque de Noël (DJ from 10:20pm to close), Cirque and The Christmas Lodge (DJ from 10pm), Urban Funfair (disco from 9:30pm), Carnivale (disco from 10pm), Masquerade (disco from 10pm, live band and DJ from 11pm) and Winters of the World.

Not every Christmas party is built for dancing. The hotel ballroom format tends to put a band on at 10pm, finish it at midnight and drift into background music — which suits a formal evening but not a team who came out to dance.

How late do they run?

Most DJ-led parties run to a 12:30am bar close and 1am carriages. The Guilford Street venues — Cirque and The Christmas Lodge — close the bar and end the music at midnight, with carriages at 12:30am, which is worth knowing if a late finish matters to your group.
