Shared Christmas Parties by Budget, London 2026

What £85, £110, £125 and £149 a head actually buy you — and why the cheapest ticket is often not the cheapest evening.

  • £85 – £180 + VAT per person
  • 19 parties

How much does a London shared Christmas party cost?

£85 to £149 + VAT per person for the ticket. Add a drinks package where drinks are not in the ticket and the realistic all-in figure is £130 to £180 + VAT per person.

Roughly: below £100 buys a midweek seated dinner with entertainment and a cash bar; £110–£135 buys large-scale production such as funfairs, circus and live bands; £140–£149 buys an all-inclusive night with four and a half hours of drinks in the ticket.

Where the money actually goes

Comparing shared Christmas parties on ticket price alone is the most common way organisers get caught out, because the tickets are not selling the same thing. Two examples, both real:

Worked comparison of a cash-bar ticket against an all-inclusive ticket
CostCirque, Wed 16 DecSkyball Syon Park, Fri 11 Dec
Ticket£85 + VAT£129 + VAT
Drinks£46 + VAT (unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks — whole party)Included — unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks, 4.5 hours
Total per person£131 + VAT£129 + VAT

The £44 gap in the headline price disappears once the drinks are priced in. That does not make the cheaper ticket a bad choice — if your group would genuinely have two drinks each, the cash bar wins comfortably. It makes it a different choice, which is the point.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest shared Christmas party in London?
Cirque at the Bloomsbury Big Top, at £85 + VAT per person on Wednesday 16 December. That includes a sparkling reception, a three-course seated dinner, aerial and stage acts, a fun casino and a DJ.
Are all prices excluding VAT?
Yes. Every price on this site excludes VAT, because that is how the venues publish them and how your finance team will book them. At 20%, a £125 + VAT ticket is £150 gross. If you are comparing across several websites, normalise everything to ex-VAT first — some sites quote gross.
Is a cheaper ticket actually cheaper?
Not always. A £95 ticket with a £46 + VAT drinks package costs £141 + VAT a head. A £129 + VAT all-inclusive ticket includes four and a half hours of drinks. Price the evening you actually intend to run, not the ticket. Our drinks guide works it through.
