The main themes running in 2026 are James Bond (Skyball, at two venues), 1920s Gatsby, masquerade (at two very different venues), Motown, circus (at three), 1970s disco, Hollywood, The Nutcracker, Latin carnival, alpine lodge and après-ski. Most sit between £110 and £149 + VAT per person.

A theme is worth having for one practical reason: it gives your guests something to talk about before they arrive and something to do when they get there. The difference between a good themed party and a badly themed one is whether the theme is in the room or only on the invitation.
