About Gatsby's Grand Soirée
Gatsby's Grand Soirée leans fully into the roaring twenties. Guests are met on the red carpet by flapper girls and a glass of Prosecco, then walk into a speakeasy-styled reception before dinner.
What lifts it above a straight themed dinner is the entertainment programming. Live singers perform modern classics reimagined in 1920s jazz arrangements, and Charleston dancers and Gatsby performers move through the room between courses rather than performing at the room from a stage.
After dinner it becomes a party: a live band from 10pm, casino tables running with pretend money and chips, glitter face painters, then background music and a DJ through to a 12:30am bar close.
The dress code is black tie, but the theme gives people licence to go further — feathers, sequins and flapper dresses are actively encouraged, and in practice a good proportion of the room does. If you want a party where people will actually dress up, this is the one on the site most likely to deliver it.
