What shared Christmas parties run on Thursday 3 December 2026?
Six, spread across the City, Victoria and Bloomsbury: Winter Wonderland Ball and Murder Mystery at Tower Hill, the Grand Masquerade Ball at St Paul's, Motown Extravaganza at Victoria, The Christmas Lodge at Russell Square and Winters of the World at Finsbury Square. Prices run from £95 to £165 + VAT per person.
The first Thursday in December is the traditional opening night of the London Christmas party season, and it prices accordingly at the premium venues — Winters of the World charges £165 + VAT for its lunchtime session here, against £125 on most other dates.
It is still a materially easier date to secure than 10 or 11 December, and for a lot of organisers it is the better call: your guests have not yet had three other parties that week, and the venue teams are fresh.
The spread on this date is unusually good. A black-tie ball, an interactive murder mystery, a live Motown set, an alpine lodge dinner and an après-ski curling party all run on the same night.
